Computational simulation of  low-dimensional nanomaterials

Research Overview 

Bu Saiyu, an associate professor at Nankai University. She holds a doctorate from East China Normal University and joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nankai University in 2026. 

Her research focuses on computational simulation of the growth and properties of low-dimensional nanomaterials. To date, she has published 12 papers as the first or co-first author/corresponding author in 

international journals such as Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials (3 papers), Nano Letters, and npj Computational Materials. She has presided over  the China Postdoctoral Science 

Foundation and has participated in several other projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
